It's been a while since I've posted on my blog, so I am going to try and post more regularly. Each week I will be sharing some useful things I've found including some awesome free stuff!

Sometimes I will share some free graphics I have personally designed, while other times I might share useful things I've collected and found on the internet and am able to share with you.

ALOHA

Take a look at these gorgeous watercolor Hawaii themed illustrations from Creative Market. Repeating patterns, fun lettering lockups, and isolated graphics, all in jpg as well as photoshop formats. Hurry! These are only free through July 3.

PIXABAY

One of my favorite resources for free photos is Pixabay. You can freely copy, modify, distribute, and use the images, even for commercial purposes. All pictures are released under Creative Commons CC0 into the public domain. I've used several stock photography sites, both paid and free, and Pixabay is one I always go to when I'm looking for a quick free image for a project. Their selection, organization, and quality are like no other free stock photo site.

SKILLSHARE: Free Class of the Week

Demystifying Beauty: Inspiration for Design

Skillshare is a global learning community for creatives (and non creatives!) by creatives. Classes are taught by industry leaders and experts and leverage video to teach a wide range of topics. Learn to knit, improve your instagram photography, or learn the tricks of perfecting a presentation.

This week hear from Ellen Lupton, Curator at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. She explores what beauty in art means, why we are drawn to certain colors or patterns, and how you can engage with your own notions of beauty.

This class is based on Beauty—Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial, the fifth installment in the museum's signature contemporary design exhibition series.

"This class is perfect for designers, creatives, and enthusiasts alike. All you need is a passion for design, a curious eye, and a yearning to understand beauty."
